How to Join Pakistan  Air Force As GD Pilot Female/Male

Gd Pilot Criteria:

Nationality

Males or Female Citizen of Pakistan

Marital Status

Unmarried

Age

 16 to 22

Height 

183 cm for both Male and Female

Training 

 3 year at PAF Academy Risalpur leading to the award of BS in Aviation Science and Management from Air University Islam Abad

Commission type

 Permanent Commission (PC) for Male

Short Service Commission (SSC) For Female

Education Qualification

 F.Sc (pre eng. Pre medi. I.Cs /A level with physics math and bio)  with 60% marks.

1)   Advertisement in leading newspapers

2)   Registration

3)   Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test

4)   Preliminary medical examination at PAF I&S Centers

5)   Filling-up of application Forms which are dispatched to GHQ for scrutiny of their previous candidature

6)   ISSB tests and interview

7)   Central Medical Board at PAF Masroor Karachi

8)   Flying Aptitude Test of GD (P) candidates

9)   Preparation of merit list by Air Headquarters

Issuance of joining instructions for training at PAF Academy Risalpur

SPSSC /SSC

1)   Advertisement in leading newspapers
2)   Registration
3)   Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test
4)   Preliminary medical examination at PAF I&S Centers
5)   Filling-up of application Forms which are dispatched to GHQ for scrutiny of their previous candidature
6)   ISSB tests and interview
7)   AHQ Board interview
8)   Central Medical Board at Lahore
9)   Preparation of merit list by Air Headquarters
10)                     Issuance of joining instructions for training at PAF Academy Risalpur

INELIGIBILITY

  • Once rejected by ISSB and once rejected by any services’ Selection Board
  • Twice rejected by ISSB or any service Selection Board for specific higher qualification course
  • If declared permanently unfit by Armed Forces Appeal Medical Board (AFAMB) for commissioning in PAF/Army/Navy (candidates declared unfit by AFAMB/ AMB/ CMH will remain ineligible until they are declared fit by Appeal Medical Board)
  • If dismissed / removed/ debarred/ from any Government Service including Armed Forces
  • If withdrawn / rejected from any service training institution for the reasons of maladjustment/ disciplinary grounds/ medical unfitness / resignation / release / character. However, candidates withdrawn due to poor performance in academics or lack of flying aptitude are eligible to apply for branches other than the ones they were withdrawn from
  • If convicted by a court of law for any offence (any criminal case registered against)
  • If original academic certificates are found tampered with
  • If concealed any information or have provided incorrect information at the time of filling in application forms
  • Thrice screened out by Army/ Navy/ Air Force in any Preliminary Tests
